They are especially rich in vitamin C (100 g - about 500 mg, i.e. the entire daily norm). They are also rich in carotene, choline, nickel, manganese, iron, phosphorus, folic acid, flavonoids, vitamins B1 and B2, P, E and K. Sea buckthorn is an excellent antioxidant: it protects against free radicals, slows down aging (it contains substances that give the skin elasticity, prevent wrinkles from forming), and also stimulates cell renewal, strengthens the body's resistance.
