Product description: potato flakes – a dehydrated product made from washed, peeled, boiled and mashed potatoes. The potato mass is dried in a drum, and the resulting flakes are crushed to a specified size. When prepared, a fluffy, creamy mashed potato is obtained, with a characteristic potato taste.
Main properties:
• Light yellow or white flakes 3–5 mm.
• Characteristic potato taste and smell, without any extraneous chemical or other odor.
• The texture of the finished product is creamy and fluffy.
• Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
• The specification states that the product does not contain GMOs and is not treated with ionizing radiation.
• Economical 20 kg packaging is suitable for professional use.
Kitchen use:
• For preparing mashed potatoes in public catering establishments, canteens and industrial kitchens.
• For garnishing meat, fish, vegetables and other hot dishes.
• For the preparation of potato dishes, casseroles, fillings, doughs or semi-finished products, when the recipe uses a ready-made potato mass.
• For preparing large quantities, when a uniform consistency and simple portion planning are important.
Preparation recommendation
Add 100 g of potato flakes to 500 ml of water at a temperature of 75 °C and mix by hand. The prepared mass should be non-sticky, fluffy, reminiscent of mashed potatoes and have a characteristic potato taste.
Ingredients: potatoes, emulsifier E471 (from sunflower oil).
