Product description: the pistachio tree can grow from 5 to 15 metres in height. The trees begin to bear fruit only after approximately 8 years, while the best yields are usually achieved after 15 years. Once fully mature, pistachio trees can continue producing fruit for centuries.
Pistachio flowers develop into fruits that grow inside a shell. In the middle of summer, the pistachio shells begin to split naturally, indicating that the nuts have ripened. When the shells turn greenish and open during autumn, the trees are shaken to collect the pistachio harvest.
Pistachios in their shells are roasted and salted, creating a delicious and crunchy snack.
Ingredients: roasted pistachios, salt.
Country of origin: Iran.
